On Wednesday, May 1, 3-5pm we honored our first-year students at the Spring24 First-Year Student Showcase, a brilliant celebration of creativity, research and critical analysis of the themes, questions and practices we explore in the first-year at UNC Asheville!

Multi-modal digital research projects such as podcasts, original music, presentations, videos, infographics, fine art, poetry, essays and more filled the Mountain Suites and 1927 room of Highsmith Union. Students were on hand to discuss their creative and scholarly work, and enthusiastically described the accomplishments and discoveries of their year at UNC Asheville. View the program lineup below.
